Soon after embarking on the college application process, it became very apparent how overwhelming and competitive the process is. We wanted our daughter to find the best college fit for her and to give her the best opportunity for acceptance into the colleges of her choice. We needed help. We started working with Admitted! College Counseling and they immediately alleviated the stress in the process. They took the time to get to know our daughter, defined what was important to her and identified her strengths and goals. The team’s vast experience and network helped our daughter narrow down her college choices and connected her with current students and alumni in order to help her compile a balanced list of schools. Diane kept us on task with spreadsheets and timelines, providing great advice and tips about the overall application process. Marjorie worked with our daughter to paint a picture through her essays and short answer questions. She has an unbelievable ability to bring out the best in the writer. The result was a coherent story showcasing my daughter’s best qualities while maintaining her own voice. I highly recommend working with Diane and Marjorie. With their guidance and expertise, our daughter found herself in the very happy circumstance of having to choose between 4 top choice schools.

I was literally losing sleep worrying about how I was going to manage the college process with twins while working full time and managing everything else on my plate. Engaging Admitted College Counseling has allowed me to sleep at night! The process is so different now than when I went to school, and Marjorie and Diane helped navigate through it. My boys enjoyed talking to them, they spent so much time getting to know them and helping them figure out their college goals. Marjorie and Diane guided my sons through everything from essays and identifying schools that would be good fits for them to applications and campus tours. They kept on top of the deadlines, and made sure the essays were completed over the summer before the stress of senior year kicked in. They developed tracking spreadsheets that kept my sons on track. Admitted also helped us with the athletic recruiting process. Marjorie and Diane are always available to answer questions and to “talk me off the ledge.” Their knowledge, expertise and experience have been invaluable, I highly recommend them.

Admitted! College Counseling saved me when I was overwhelmed by the college application process and had no idea where to start. They were there, guiding and assisting in every way they could, from finding what colleges suited my needs until I hit that submit button. Whether I needed a proofreader, help brainstorming a topic for my personal statement, or an answer to one of the thousand random questions I texted, they were always ready to help in a timely fashion. Diane organized and structured my applications so I knew what I needed to accomplish and by when while my personal statement and supplementals would not be half as good without Marjorie. She helped me showcase myself in the best light possible, showing my resilience and initiative while bringing out the best writer in me. Together, they gave me motivation and direction when I felt like the anxiety and stress of applications were consuming me. I strongly recommend working with Diane and Marjorie!

Hiring Admitted! is one of the best investments I have made for my daughter! I had planned to manage the college process on our own, but after realizing the complexity of it and wanting to give my daughter the best chances after her hard work in high school, I realized that Admitted!’s expertise is what we needed. Marjorie immediately focused us and enabled my daughter to hit all the deadlines of her prospective schools. She needed the most help with essay writing. Marjorie’s knowledge of what schools are looking for proved to be invaluable, not only with essays, but in writing up and “selling” the extracurriculars. She immediately created rapport with my teenager and was flexible in terms of meeting times and location. This was extremely beneficial given my daughter’s demanding cross-country and track schedule. Marjorie’s feedback was direct, concise and it came fast. The results speak for themselves. My daughter was admitted to several of her “stretch” schools and is now blessed with excellent choices. This has given us time to compare the programs for her major and for her to select the institution with the vibe she is looking for and where she sees students like herself. I am grateful to Admitted! and plan to hire them for my other children!

Admitted! College Counseling made my college admission process so much less stressful. Diane and Marjorie were always there to answer any questions I had throughout the process, which was amazing! They gave me great feedback on my common app essay, supplemental essays, and activity list. They supported me throughout the process and really got to know me in order to provide personalized attention. They also helped me decide that early decision was right for me. I couldn’t have done it without them, thank you so much!

The college admissions process is daunting for any high school senior. Combined with the ongoing global pandemic and my decision to graduate early from high school, this process was suddenly amplified to a seemingly impossible task. Working with Mrs. Martynowicz and Mrs. Heyman was a tremendous help and kept me on track for the months leading up to application deadlines. Both really got to know me and what I had to offer. They helped me showcase my best qualities in the applications. Mrs. Heyman taught me to illustrate the best version of myself through my personal statement and supplements, one of the most important parts of any application. Mrs. Martynowicz gave my family and I much needed advice on time management, school selection, and any application questions we had. Both were there for us from the beginning to the end of the college admissions process; from starting my Common Application to selecting the school I was going to attend. Had it not been for them, I truly believe I would not have been left with the many great options I had.

Admitted! College Counseling was a major help throughout the college application process and helped me to feel more confident in submitting my undergraduate and graduate applications. They assisted with minor grammatical errors and word modifications that greatly improved my writing, while not taking away my perspective. With their help, I was accepted to my dream universities with a strong college essay that set me apart from other individuals with similar grades and test scores. I am so happy I had Admitted! to provide me with insight on how I could improve my writing in my supplemental and general college essays.

Thank you, Admitted College Counseling! During the initial discussion I explained that I was calling on behalf of a HS Junior who is living abroad in Indonesia with her family. I am so grateful that despite the time zone challenges, Diane and Marjorie were eager to help and share their experience. They guided her through researching and shortlisting schools, setting up timelines and understanding deliverables, writing essays to showcase not only her accomplishments but also her authentic self, preparing for campus visits and ultimately making her decision. Most importantly, they took the time to understand her goal to attend a US based Christian college that aligns with her personal values and offers the education and on campus experience she desires. Thank you for playing a part in her life journey.

I can attribute to being accepted into multiple schools such as Sacred Heart University, Chapman University, University of La Verne, and Monmouth University which I currently attend, to none other than Admitted! College Counseling. Mrs. Heyman was by far the biggest help in my college essay writing process, as well as my whole application process as a whole. Being a first generation college student, the college application process was something that was very new to not only myself but my family as well. That is until I got great consultation and help from Admitted! College Counseling. From multiple sessions guiding me through all of my college essays and formatting them in a way best suited for applications, along with giving tips on how to navigate through the Common App, they made my college application process a walk in the park. Finally submitting all of my applications felt like a sigh of relief and accomplishment, and I couldn’t have been able to do it without their help. I recommend anyone looking for help on their college essays and applications to go to Admitted! College Counseling and get some great guidance and advice, it’ll benefit you tremendously!

Working with Admitted! College Counseling was an amazing experience. They turned an extremely stressful college process into a step-by-step operation. This is not a hand holding service– they are not here to write for you. They were able to help my son put his best foot forward, and give him insight into what aspect of himself and his journey would be best appreciated by the readers of his essays. They take their years of experience and combine it with a fun atmosphere. They helped save us countless hours of frustration. I highly recommend Admitted! College Counseling to help your child navigate the complicated process involved in applying to college. While my daughter had stellar grades and numerous extracurricular activities, I was shocked by the randomness of the admission decision process. Being highly driven and motivated, my daughter completed all her applications without assistance, but we both understood the competitiveness of the schools she chose. We knew she really needed to nail her college essay and while she wrote the essay on her own, and it was excellent, Marjorie’s gentle guidance and succinct suggestions helped make it really stand out in the crowd. Marjorie is caring, honest and passionate about this work. I felt she was truly invested in my child and will be with you from the beginning of the process through the day your child receives the acceptance letter they hope for. Not only did Marjorie help with my daughter’s undergraduate essay but when it came time to apply for a coveted master’s program, we once again, called upon her expertise to help with a challenging essay requirement. I am happy to say that my daughter was accepted to the program and will begin her studies next year. Thank you, Admitted!

When my daughter started this college application process early in her junior year, we really had no idea what we were getting into. It started off very stressful trying to decide what to do and when, until we teamed up with Admitted! They advised us on how to make the most of our college tours. Diane partnered with my daughter to come up with a realistic college list, and she established a timeline for us to follow to alleviate the last-minute stress and keep us on track. Marjorie showed her how to effectively outline her essay, brainstorming essay themes that would reflect our daughter’s strengths and personality. In the end, my daughter also had 25 supplemental essays that would have normally caused serious stress but Admitted! walked her through the most efficient way to approach it. After the last application was submitted, I asked my daughter frankly about what she thought of Admitted!. Her response was “they were incredibly helpful, it has been amazing, because of them I have 10 times more of a shot to get into my colleges, absolutely phenomenal”. I can’t imagine how many times my daughter texted or emailed Marjorie and/or Diane, sometimes with questions but sometimes just looking for a calming voice. Marjorie and Diane were so easy to work with and we strongly recommend them.

We were really happy with Admitted College Counseling. They kept us on track with a dashboard and brainstormed themes and experiences with my daughter for her essays/supplementals. We found that our daughter was more receptive to someone who is not their parent. We really liked working with them and recommend them to all of our friends.

I wanted to thank Admitted! for your support of Mark during this incredibly competitive college application season. Somehow, you were able to pull a great essay out of Mark! I am in awe of your process approach to getting a kid to not only come up with an idea for an essay but then for the kid to actually write it AND for it to be good. Mark told me about some of the questions you asked him to get his creative juices flowing and how genius that was on your part. Mark wrote his essay but without your probing and input, it would not have come together as nicely as it did. I also appreciate the opportunity to stay out of that part of the college application process. Lastly, your expertise and in-depth knowledge of so many colleges was invaluable. Thank you!

Before I reached out to Mrs. Heyman I was really unsure about my essay and did not know if it was enough to get into the school I wanted to go to. After Mrs. Heyman helped me, I was confident in myself and my writing skills which allowed me to write an essay worthy of being accepted into the school of my choosing. Not only did she give me the tools needed to succeed, but she also highlighted my flaws and turned them into my strengths. I cannot thank her enough for how much she helped me with my college writing.
